A pearl on the Isla GrandeI loved every second of our staying in this hotel. The staff is kind and friendly, the food is amazing and cooked fresh every day. You can buy fresh lobster and crabs from a local fisherman who passes by every morning and the staff of the hotel will cook it for you. The location is spectacular and the hotel is in a quiet position, far away from constantly passing boats. At night you can sit in the shore and stare at the incredible sky. The hotel can arrange for you scuba diving lesson (absolutely worth it!) and an excursion to the Laguna Encantada, where the plankton lights up and you can swim in it at night. The rooms are exactly what you can expect from an eco-hotel, Spartan like but clean and with comfortable beds. You have private toilet and shower (No warm water but seriously the days are so hot that you don’t need it). Energy runs from 5pm to 9am to preserve the environment and reduce pollution. If you are looking for a 5stars hotel experience or a holidays village then this hotel is not for you, but if you are easy going and you like to experience a bit of immersion in nature and in typical days on the island then you can totally love this hotel. The price is half what you’ll pay in other hotels, which is a plus for who likes to spend money… I loved every second of our staying in this hotel. I will definitely come back and recommend it to all my friends! More
